Panthers' F1RST NIGHT

Florida International University is excited to welcome you as you embark on your college journey! After your first day of class, join us on the field at FIU Stadium for Panthers’ F1RST NIGHT. This university tradition combines a formal welcome ceremony, hosted by the FIU President, college deans, and other distinguished faculty and staff, with a night of music and entertainment alongside your fellow Panthers.

Get to know current students and alumni, and interact with dozens of clubs, organizations and programs at FIU to learn how to get involved in our vibrant campus life. Panthers’ F1RST NIGHT is the perfect kickoff to an unforgettable first year at FIU!

Attendance is strongly encouraged for all first-year and incoming transfer students who entered FIU in the Summer or Fall 2024 semesters.

Parents and families are welcome to attend!

*Parking will be available in Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds lot east of FIU Stadium. Students with valid parking permits may park in any student space across campus.

Food, music and entertainment will be provided!

    Yes! Panther family members are welcome to attend. Please be sure to include the number of guests you will be bringing when you register for the event online. 

  • Where can I park for this event?

    Parking will be available in Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds lot east of FIU Stadium. Students with valid parking permits may also choose to park in any student space across campus.
