Holiday Closure
The Health Compliance Office will be closed for the university’s winter holiday break:
December 23, 2024, through January 1, 2025.
- For immunization questions, please email or submit your records to immune@fiu.edu.
- For insurance questions, please email or send your documents to insure@fiu.edu.
Please note that processing times are 48 to 72 hours, and records will be processed in the order they are received once the office reopens on January 2, 2025.

The Health Compliance (HC) unit helps you with registration hold for immunization and international student health insurance.
Registration Holds
FIU reguires proof of immunization for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Meningitis. Additionally, international students are required to have appropriate health insurance. These are mandates by the FL Board of Governors; if you do not submit appropriate documentation, you will not be able to enroll in classes.
