  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety and depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, or sexual assault, CAPS and the Victim Empowerment Program are here to help. Skilled professionals are available and ready to assist you. Alternatively, their website also offers online self-help. Plus, services are free and always confidential.

  • Healthy Living Program

At the Healthy Living Program, we offer a holistic and preventative approach to health by encouraging FIU students to engage in everyday healthy lifestyle practices! Our on-campus services and online education promote the 9 Dimensions of Wellness: physical, intellectual, occupational, emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, financial, and cultural.

Don't go hungry

Both Modesto A. Maidique and Biscayne Bay Campus have student food pantries. No proof of need is required and students can access the pantry once a week taking up to 10 pounds of food each visit.
