The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA) is committed to delivering and facilitating comprehensive, success-oriented services and programs that support FIU's military-affiliated Panthers. Our mission is to aid, serve, and foster a thriving community, ensuring an exceptional FIU experience.

Amanda Khoury headshot

From the Marine Corps to cybersecurity, community service

Amanda Khoury joined the Marines to prove to her teenage self that she was capable of living a fulfilling life. Now, she is studying international relations with a focus on cybersecurity, intelligence and information policy at FIU. Driven by the increasing cyber threats, she aspires to specialize in cyber laws.
