Technology Assistance
Technology Assistance tutoring provides students with individualized support in using technology and software commonly needed for their academic work.
Students can receive support with:
- Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, charts, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Navigating websites such as Canvas
- Learning how to use unfamiliar software and technology
- Troubleshooting common issues with academic applications
- Developing technology skills needed for assignments, projects, and coursework
Scheduling an Appointment
Students can schedule a Technology Applications tutoring session through the Panther Tutoring Network (PTN) at https://fiu.traccloud.com/ by selecting "Technology Assistance" as the Reason for the appointment when searching for availiblity, or by calling the front desk at 305-348-2441 to request an appointment.
