Tina Nguyen

Bio

Tina Nguyen is a proud two-time alumna of Florida International University, where she earned her bachelor’s in Biological Science and master’s in Adult Education and Human Resource Development. Tina began her higher education journey in 2012, where she worked in the Student Services department at Broward College as an Admissions Officer and Academic Advisor. She joined the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at FIU in 2021 as a Science, Technology, Education, and Math (STEM) advisor. She is also a First Year Experience instructor at FIU. In 2023, Tina joined the Office of Student Success Operation & Strategy as a Student Progression Specialist, she works with colleges to identify and intervene when students are off-track in their major to discuss their options to remove academic barriers to make sure students graduate on time.
