Hope Jimenez

Hope Jimenez is a Senior Student Success Coordinator in the Divison of Academic & Student Affairs. Hope graduated from the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Elementary Education. She received her teaching certificate for kingergarten through 6th grade with endorsements in reading, ESOL, and special education. She taught all subject areas in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. Hope also started a tutoring business working one-on-one with students in K-6th grade in the areas of reading, writing, and math. She began her career at FIU in 2023 as a Student Success Specialist where she conducted outreaches to targeted populations of students experiencing barrieres in their academic success. Her current role is the Senior Student Success Coordinator where she manages specialized outreaches to provide students with resources to advance in their education at FIU.
