Committees
Standing Committees
- Signature Events Committee: This committee is responsible for organizing, implementing and enhancing PSU’s signature events, such as welcome receptions, National Coming Out Day, Transgender Day of Visibility and more.
- Advocacy Committee: This committee advocates for policies that protect FIU students' well-being and safety on campus through demonstrations and initiatives pertaining to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Ad Hoc Committees
- Drag Show Committee: This committee is responsible for organizing, implementing and enhancing the annual Drag Show, which is PSU’s most significant event. Committee members will plan the layout, decorations, giveaways and other crucial aspects of the event.
- Trans Resource Committee: This committee is responsible for maintaining, updating and expanding the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine’s official "Transgender Resources" page for transgender, nonbinary and allied members of the FIU community.
