F1RST NIGHT is one of FIU's newest and largest traditions. This annual, foundational event is an opportunity for the bureau to give the FIU community information on the "state of the Black Student Union" and issues facing students of the African Diaspora at FIU, receive and give recommendations for the university to consider, and highlight the initiatives for the academic year.
NPHC Campus Celebration

Join BSU and NPHC as we celebrate the start of the academic year in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. This is an opportunity for students to come together and unwind from the first week of classes with a DJ, food truck, snacks and giveaways!
