On the right side of your Student Home page there are three boxes with helpful information at-a-glance. The first is Quick Links where FIU administration will post any important links you need quick access to. The second is Upcoming Appointments where you can see any upcoming appointments you have scheduled with members of your Success Team. The last one is Your Success Team where you can see your assigned advisor and assigned Coach (if applicable).

  • Class Information

The Class Information tab shows your current class enrollment including Midterm grades (if applicable). You can use the Term dropdown menu in the top right side of the page to select previous semesters and see your enrollment history along with your final grades in those classes.

  • Reports

The Reports tab shows you documentation regarding your performance in you registered classes, your appointment summaries, or generic notes created by members of your Success Team or other FIU staff.

    Progress Reports

Progress Reports are submitted when a professor evaluates you At-Risk in a class. You can view information regarding your Progress Reports on the first table of the Reports tab. The information available for each Progress Report includes Date submitted, Class, Professor Name, Comments from the Professor, and the Alert Reasons. If you hover over the comment you can view the full contents of long comments, and at the far right of each Progress Report is a View Report link that shows you the original Progress Report submitted by a Professor.

  • Calendar

The Calendar tab allows you to view your enrolled class schedule and any appointments with Success Team members. Each event type is color-coded differently for your convenience. The Calendar allows you to switch between a daily, weekly, or monthly view using the buttons located above the Calendar on the right side. The left arrow and right arrow buttons on each side of the day, week, and month buttons allow you to navigate backward and forward respectively based on your current view of the Calendar. To print your Calendar, use the Calendar (PDF) link located above the day, week, and month buttons.  To view your Calendar as a list, use the List link next to the Calendar (PDF) link.

The Calendar can also be accessed by using the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Accessing your Calendar this way opens two new tabs: List of Calendar Items and Subscriptions. The List of Calendar Items tab shows you the events on your Calendar in three lists Today, This Week, and Next Week. In the Subscriptions tab, you have the option to Setup Calendar Integration or Setup Free/Busy Integration.

The Calendar Integration allows you to integrate an external calendaring application such as Outlook, iCal, Google Calendar, or Zimbra. Using the click here link on the External Calendaring Setup tab, you can quickly set up integration with an application on your computer. If the link does not work automatically, then there are instructions for manually setting up the integration on your preferred external calendaring application.

Follow the instructions for the three dropdown menus and click the Next button on the bottom right.

The next screen is the Location & Staff step, here you will choose your preferred location – some members of your Success Team may have multiple locations on PSN spanning multiple FIU campuses, online chat rooms, or phone numbers. Once you have selected your preferred location, you must select the staff member available at that location and click the Next button on the bottom right.

The next screen is the Select Time step where you will see the available appointments per day for the staff member you selected on the previous step. In this step, you are shown five days of appointment availability -- including the current date. Each day has a box labeled Morning and Afternoon. If your Success Team member has available appointments, then either the Morning box, the Afternoon box, or both boxes will be blue – depending on what time the staff member is available.  If your Success Team member has no available appointments in the five days displayed on your screen, then you can use the blue right arrow button above the fifth day to see the next five days of appointment availability. Below the five days of appointment availability is a yellow banner with a button labeled View Drop-in Times – click on that button to see when your Success Team member is available for drop-in visits. Once you found a day that you want to meet with your Success Team member, click either the Morning box or the Afternoon box to see the exact times your Success Team member is available for an appointment. Select what time you want to meet with your Success Team member and click the Next button on the bottom right.

The last screen is the Confirm step where you will have an opportunity to confirm all the selections you have made in the previous three steps. The Appointment Details box tells you who you are meeting with, the selected service, what day and time you are scheduling an appointment, and where the appointment will take place. Below the Appointment Details is a text box where you can write any comments you want your Success Team member to know prior to your appointment. Next to that are two checkboxes for you to customize how you want to receive reminders: Send Me an Email and Send Me a Text. Finally, click the Confirm Appointment button at the bottom right to schedule your appointment with the selected Success Team member.
