Bio
Artem Zastoupailo serves as the Associate Director of STEP Success within the Office of Student Success Operations and Strategy at Florida International University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.
Artem has worked in higher education since 2016 and brings experience across multiple functional areas, including the Registrar’s Office, Graduate Education, and Academic Advising. He joined FIU in 2021 as an Assistant Director with the College of Arts, Sciences & Education Advising team, where he oversaw academic advising operations at the Biscayne Bay Campus and served as a liaison to the Student-Athlete Academic Center.
In March 2026, Artem transitioned into his current role, where he leads the STEP Success team and supports First Time in College students who enroll at FIU through the STEP pathway.
