Ayssa Roza

Bio

Ayssa Roza is the Associate Director for the Student Athlete Academic Center since June of 2012. She works closely with the football student-athletes with their academic goals as well as preparing them for life after college. Ayssa also assists in the daily operations of the SAAC and oversees the Academic Coordinators. Ayssa has had experience working with all FIU sports during her time working at the SAAC.

Originally from Hialeah, Florida, Ayssa received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling both from Florida International University. Before working at the SAAC, Ayssa served as the Team Lead/College Prep Program for the Undergraduate Program on campus from 2009 - 2012 at FIU.

In her spare time, Ayssa enjoys going to sporting events and cheering the Panthers on as well as visiting the beach and relaxing. Ayssa has been an active member of National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) since 2009.
