Approach to Therapy: Katherine utilizes an integrative model of care, tailoring treatment to individual’s needs, while collaborating with her students to achieve healthier, more adaptive ways of functioning. She integrates various therapeutic orientations in her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychoeducation – depending on the student’s needs.

Professional Interests: Katherine is a bilingual and bicultural therapist who is passionate about serving as a support for those who are struggling with their mental health. She enjoys working closely and collaboratively with students to develop skills that will help them feel better equipped to face life’s challenges. Her professional interests include working with students struggling with anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, relationship concerns, trauma, immigration and acculturation, and first generation college students.
