Jamie Perez

Bio

Jamie started her career in higher education in 2002 as an Academic Advisor at Miami Dade College. She joined FIU in 2006 as an Academic Advisor for the College of Business. Since 2007 she has been working with the National Student Exchange (NSE) Office and is currently the Program Manager. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Mathematics Education, and a Master’s degree in International and Cross-Cultural Development in Education, from FIU. Jamie enjoys interacting with NSE partner institutions throughout the United States and Canada. She promotes diversity and cultural engagement learning opportunities. She believes that adding a collegiate study away experience enhances education and develops student growth. Jamie serves as the advisor for the National Student Exchange Club at FIU.
