Giovanna Tello

Bio

Giovanna provides support to various areas within the Office of Academic Support Initiatives & Services (OASIS) such as serving as a part-time College Life Coach, assisting in the oversight of the Peer Mentor Program at the Biscayne Bay Campus, and supporting university-wide Advising Initiatives. Originally from New Jersey, she earned her Bachelor's degree in English, took a one-way flight to Miami to earn her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, and has been at FIU ever since. Currently, Giovanna is pursuing her PhD in Higher Education and enjoys reading and exploring different parts of Miami.
