She received her Bachelor of Arts in Media, Communications, & Visual Arts with a Minor in Psychology from Pace University and then pursued her Master’s in College Student Affairs from Rutgers University. While at Rutgers University, she served as the Student Leadership Programming Graduate Intern where she advised the Residence Hall Association and the National Residence Hall Honorary. In 2021, she was granted the opportunity to work as the New Student Programs Coordinator where she oversaw the First Year Experience including Orientation, First Year Seminar Classes, FYE Programming and Emerging Leaders Program at Barry University. Her passion for leadership development began during her undergraduate career when she took on multiple leadership roles and realized the impact she has made on others. When she is asked why she decided to pursue this field, her answer is to empower, motivate and challenge students to become the leaders she knows they can be. Witnessing the growth of her students has been Amber’s favorite part of working in Student Affairs. Amber lives by this quote inside and outside of the office… “A day without laughter is a day wasted.”
