Approach to TherapySo much of what we believe about ourselves and how we navigate the world around us comes from what we learned from our relationships with caregivers and other impactful early interactions. Sometimes, these experiences cause us to latch on to beliefs that are counterproductive and no longer serve us. Elizabeth believes this is where our challenges emerge. As such, she approaches therapy from a relational and attachment standpoint. She believes the therapeutic relationship is the catalyst for change and growth, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and client empowerment throughout the therapeutic process. Elizabeth chooses to walk alongside clients on their journey towards better connecting with and understanding themselves. Ultimately, she aims to support clients in identifying their voice by integrating aspects of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Systems Theories, among others.
