Bio
Over the past 5 years, I have dedicated myself to providing support to FIU students and our clinical staff through my various roles at CAPS/VEP. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver trauma-informed therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy services. I also supervise clinical cases, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest standards in advocacy and trauma-informed practices. My focus has been on fostering resilience in those I serve and advancing mental health awareness within the university community.
When I’m not working, I love spending quality time with my family—it’s my greatest joy and recharge. Whether we’re enjoying the sun and waves at the beach, exploring new destinations, or simply creating memories at home, these moments mean the world to me. Traveling is a passion of mine, as it gives me a chance to experience different cultures and share those adventures with my loved ones. The combination of family, nature, and discovery brings me balance and inspiration in both my personal and professional life.
As a proud FIU alumna, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013 and my Master of Science in Psychology in 2015. My time at Florida International University was transformative, providing me with a strong academic foundation and invaluable experiences that shaped my professional journey.
