Approach to TherapyDr. Craig is trained in evidence-based therapies including ACT, CBT, DBT, ERP, and UP. She enjoys integrating self-compassion into her work with clients. In her perspective, the therapeutic relationship holds the utmost importance in the process of healing and facilitating change and she hopes to assist clients in gaining a greater understanding about what gives their life meaning and purpose. In collaboration with her clients, she works to interrupt patterns of turning away from pain and suffering, embracing the idea that difficult experiences can become powerful catalysts for transformation. Her aim is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients can navigate life’s complexities and strengthen resiliency. She helps clients cultivate acceptance—of themselves, others, and reality—while also supporting their capacity to grow, change, and thrive.
Professional InterestsDr. Craig has experience treating a wide variety of concerns, but her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, interpersonal concerns, and sports psychology. She has a passion for supporting athletes with both performance and mental health. During her predoctoral internship, she provided specialized care to collegiate athletes managing the unique demands of academic and athletic life. She enjoys partnering with athletes to help them sharpen their mental game, recover from setbacks and reach their full potential.
Other ActivitiesOutside of work, she maintains an active lifestyle through CrossFit, running, and Hyrox competitions. She is an avid traveler with a strong curiosity for exploring new cultures and cuisines.
