Certified Student Leader Program

The Certified Student Leader Badge Program provides an opportunity for students to articulate how the involvements they are doing outside of the classroom help better prepare them for the workforce to employers. Students who successfully complete the program requirements and earn the badge can apply for the Certified Student Leader Graduation Medallion.

Deadlines

  • Spring 2024: Monday, April 8th
  • Summer 2024: Monday, July 1st
  • Fall 2024: Monday, Nov 18th

Claim your badge and medallion

Getting ready for commencement? How to apply for the Certified Student Leader Graduation Medallion and claim your badge?

  • Sign intoPantherConnect and join the Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) Program portal.
  • Apply for the physical medallion to wear at commencement on PantherConnect during your last semester under the CLS forms library.
    • You will need to upload your current resume and a screenshot of your badge as part of the application.
  • Claim your Badge once you successfully completed all requirement modules. You will receive a message to your FIU email notifying you that your badge has been awarded. Email microcred@fiu.edu if you have any questions.
