Council for Undergraduate Academic Advising (CUAA)

Welcome! CUAA serves as a central hub for the academic advising community to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and address university-wide concerns related to advising policies and practices. CUAA is dedicated to enhancing communication, fostering dialogue, and supporting the professional development of academic advisors and academic advising related leadership. Acting as a crucial bridge between academic advisors, Academic Affairs, and other key campus-wide offices, CUAA plays a pivotal role in advancing student success and promoting persistence toward degree completion.

This council ensures that academic advising remains a core element of the student experience, creating an environment where advisors are empowered to support both the academic and personal growth of their students. At the core of CUAA’s mission is a steadfast commitment to the growth and success of academic advisors. To achieve this, we provide a range of professional development opportunities and celebrate outstanding contributions through awards and recognition.

Sincerely,
Alina Dominguez, Chair
