Find your people
Everybody needs somebody to share a little cafecito with. Finding community at FIU is as easy as logging into Panther Connect. Join any student organization at the click of a button. You just need to put yourself out there.
Join (or start) a club
A club is an organization formed by students around shared values like culture, academic interest (both graduate and undergraduate), hobbies, sports and more. All clubs are administered by the Registered Student Organization Council. There are hundreds of clubs to choose from at FIU but if you don't like what you see, feel free to start your own!
Go Greek
Rushing in college is a rite of passage. At FIU you can rush any of 29 fraternity and sorority chapters made up of over 1100 students. Each organization was founded on the values of scholarship, leadership, brotherhood/sisterhood, community service, and philanthropy.
Center your faith
Faith, friendship and community. If these are the values you hold dear, you should join a student faith group. The Multi-Faith Council unites multiple religious organizations from different faith traditions to nurture intellectual dimensions of faith and encourage the spiritual dimensions of education.
