Students who have been assigned a Panther ID (PID) number with Florida International University under tuition Plan-B will continue to pay normal tuition and fees to their home university (not FIU).

In order to secure your exchange with FIU during Fall 2022 and/or Spring 2023, please complete the below-steps immediately:

Required Steps:

  1. Create your MyAccounts Log In: MyAccounts is FIU's central authentication system. It provides students with a centralized method for changing passwords and managing their online identity at FIU. (please remember to write down your Panther ID and Password in a secure place):

    STEPS:
    • Go to MyAccounts
    • Sign in using your Panther ID and default password. If you are logging in for the very first time, your default password is the date of birth in the format: ddMonYYYY. Your password is CASE SENSITIVE. You must CAPITALIZE the first letter of the MONTH. Therefore, if your date of birth is April 20, 2009, then your default password is 20Apr2009.
    • After you change your default password, be sure to set your security questions. This will allow you to reset your password in the future.

    NOTES:
  1.  FIU-Email account (Panthermail): Go to MyAccounts to acquire your FIU Username, click on Look up your FIU Username. Once you have your FIU Username and Panther ID number, login to your FIU Panthermail by using your FIU Username and password.
    • The FIU Division of Information Technology (IT) maintains and supports FIU Panthermail and MyFIU accounts. You can reach the FIU IT Support Center, a one-stop for technology support by contacting the DoIT Call Center at (305) 348-2284, or online through the FIU AskIT portal.
  1. Course Registration: The FIU-NSE office will email you directly with specific registration instructions & dates. NSE strongly recommends that you have flexible course options for enrollment.
    • The Fall 2022 online class schedule can be accessed via students' MyFIU accounts. First click on the  Manage Classes tile, then click on the Browse Course Catalog link.
    • In the meantime, please consult with your home institution Academic Advisor to begin the process of evaluating FIU courses for equivalency; and how those courses will transfer back to be used for your degree program at your home institution. NSE course registration is expected to commence during the following approximate dates:
      • Fall 2022: early-April 2022
      • Spring 2023: early-November 2022
