Free online tutoring

The Assistance for Academic Achievement (AAA) is one of the many free services offered by the Office of Social Justice and Inclusion. Our tutors are ready to help all current FIU students in their tough courses fully online! Scroll down to book our tutors.

Tutoring will take place via GC-216 or Zoom (per request and availability).

Rules and policies

  1. Not showing up to your appointment will result as a no-show under your name.
  2. Canceling your appointment less than 24 hours before your booking slot also constitutes as a no-show under your name.
  3. Having two no-shows under your name will result in you not being able to use our booking system for the remainder of the semester. However, you can utilize the tutoring services as a drop-in.
  4. You must come to your tutoring sessions with notes, questions or sample problems prepared to have your tutor best guide you.
  5. You can only book up to three appointments (3 hours worth) every week in total and up to one hour of tutoring a day.
  6. Your tutor is not here to do your homework. They will help you with issues, problems and misunderstandings you may have.
  7. If you show up past 10 minutes after your appointment time without notifying your tutor or the coordinator via email, your time slot can be given up to a waiting drop-in students
