Join the Office of Global Learning Initiatives as we host Richard Blanco, a historic presidential inaugural poet, FIU alumnus, public speaker, teacher and memoirist, who travels the world, inviting audiences to reconnect to the heart of the human experience and all of its beautiful diversity. Mr. Blanco, who was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, will speak on the importance of poetry and other relevant topics during this Hispanic Heritage Month event.
