The Testing Center offers in-person exams such as ATI TEAS, CLEP, FLATS, Certiport, DSST, ACT On-campus, FIU Academic Exams, and Individual Proctored Exams. To register for an in person exam, click one of the campus locations below.

Requirements and Guidelines
- You must bring one form of identification. It must be a government-issued, unexpired photo ID with signature and likeness matching exactly what you used when registering. NO EXCEPTIONS. Listed below are acceptable forms of photo identification:
- Current driver's license
- State Approved ID
- Current Passport
- Tribal ID card
- Military ID
- FIU Panther ID (Only for FIU make-up exams).
- No electronic devices are permitted within the testing lab. Electronic devices include, but are not limited to:
- mobile phones of any type
- tablets
- smartwatches
- smart glasses
- laptops
- All personal items will be placed inside one of the lockers located outside the testing lab. Items such as hats, sunglasses, snacks, electronic devices, bags of any kind, loose jewelry, and other personal effects will not be permitted within the testing lab.
Outerwear Clothing Policy for Test Takers – Effective January 2, 2025
To ensure a secure testing environment, all test takers wearing outerwear must remove it upon entering the Testing Center for inspection.
What Counts as Outerwear?
Outerwear includes jackets, sweaters, coats, hoodies, cloaks, robes, and dusters.
Guidelines for Test Takers:
- Outerwear Inspection: You must remove all outerwear for inspection before starting your exam.
- Long-Sleeve Shirts: These are allowed, but you’ll need to roll up your sleeves above your elbows temporarily during the inspection.
- Storage Option: If you’re uncomfortable having your outerwear inspected, store it in your bookbag or assigned locker for the duration of your exam.
What Happens If You’re Unprepared?
If you don’t have a second layer of clothing under your outerwear and are unable to remove it for inspection:
- You may be required to leave the Testing Center.
- Return only after putting on an appropriate second layer, removing your outerwear, and having it inspected
Important Reminder:
Failure to follow these rules will result in being possibly denied access to the exam.
Bring your exam registration ticket, if applicable, on the day of your exam.
