  • Workshop Expectations
    1. Be prepared. Whether on Zoom or on campus, bring your textbook, syllabus, laptop and any pertinent materials related to the pace of the course. Rough drafts and data sets will be extremely helpful.
    2. Be on time. Sessions are one hour in length. The tutors need all of this time in order to provide each participant with the necessary attention and detail to their progress.
    3. Be responsible. Once you register for a workshop at the Center for Academic Success (CfAS) you are reserving a place that no other student can take. Be considerate with these workshops. Make sure that your tutor records your attendance. At the end of the semester these records will be submitted to your professor.
    4. Be receptive. The content of the workshops is intended help you throughout your research methods sequence. We would like as much feedback as possible respective to whether this is helping your understanding of the course.

Workshop registration will take place on the Panther Success Network. Follow the steps below to register for the TLC for Research Methods 1 Statistical Series or Reading & Writing Series. Please keep in mind that PSN allows you to schedule one appointment at a time, you will have to follow the steps again if you want to schedule more than one TLC Research Methods 1 session.
