Interactive NHPW kickoff with five tables. Table 9 will serve as check-in and distribute passport-style activity cards. Students must engage with each table to complete the experience and receive a giveaway. All tables will also promote NHPW events, resources, and reporting information.

This general body meeting will introduce the Women In Medicine Club's Executive Board and provide members with an overview of the club’s membership point system, including the different event categories and requirements. Members will be informed that they must earn a minimum of 12 points by the end of the semester to become active members and qualify for additional opportunities, such as applying for future Executive Board positions. The meeting will also provide information about upcoming club events and available research, shadowing, and volunteer opportunities that they could apply to.

• Description: In this session, we will share the research experience in Dr. Tomás R. Guilarte's laboratory at Florida International University from the perspective of a Ph.D. student, highlighting efforts to understand the role of an early biomarker of neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease. We will also discuss the work of the Group of Neurosciences of Antioquia in studying the world's largest kindred with familial Alzheimer's disease in Colombia and explore how this research has impacted patients, families, and the broader community, while also advancing our understanding of Alzheimer's disease and informing potential prevention methods and treatments for patients worldwide.
