About the Course:

The U.S. Department of State's Diplomacy Lab at FIU's Honors College allows students to explore real-world challenges identified by State Department officials and work under the guidance of FIU faculty members with experience in diplomacy and international relations.

Students will:

Work on real-world foreign policy challenges identified by the U.S. Department of State.

Collaborate with FIU faculty experts in diplomacy, international relations, and global affairs.

Conduct hands-on, multidisciplinary research that addresses current international issues.

Develop actionable recommendations to support U.S. foreign policy objectives.

Work in teams on topics that matter to policymakers and global leaders.

Engage directly with State Department officials and connect with experts from FIU and around the world.

️ Present your findings to the U.S. Department of State at the end of the semester.

⭐ Gain valuable experience influencing policy while building research, analytical, and professional skills.
